The year 2007 marked 125 years of Westfield College and 120 years of Queen Mary College. The Women at Queen Mary Project celebrated these anniversaries and the contributions of women at QM through an Exhibition and a series of events across the 2007-2008 academic year. Four institutions underpin the College: Queen Mary and Westfield, and St Bartholomew's and The London Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. The exhibition told the history of the College in the context of women, by presenting the challenges, activities and achievements of women across disciplines at all four institutions. The items presented dated back to the 1850s, and included recordings of interviews and dramatisations which brought the history of the College to life.
